For it is in giving that we receive. -St. Francis of Assissi
Two local artists, Jill Woodward and Emily Lynch-Victory, were awarded a grant from the Delano Area Community Foundation to offer "Free Art Saturdays" for elementary students! The events will be held at the middle school art room on one Saturday each month. Children can come anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to create art. Students must be accompanied by an adult (siblings need only one adult).
I can’t believe the 100th day of school is upon us! We will be decorating 100 day crowns, nibbling a special 100 day snack, and writing a list of 100 things for which we are grateful. Please help your child select 100 object to share in our “100 Museum”.
I can’t wait until Tuesday!

We will be celebrating the 100th day of school on Tuesday, February 16th. We’ll have a 100 Museum on the table in the hallway. The students can bring in 100 of something for our ‘museum’. In the past, students have placed 100 cheerios or pennies in a bag. One year a student built a tower using 50 toothpicks and 50 marshmallows. I’ve seen a lego car with 100 pieces. The options are limitless! Please help your first grader select something that isn’t too valuable as the items will be accessible to anyone who walks through the hallway.
