2nd Graders are encouraged to wear their First Holy Communion attire to our all school Mass this Friday. Please join us after Mass on Friday, April 29th for hospitality. Your second grader will have received Jesus’ body, blood, soul, and divinity for the first time in community with the St Maximilian Kolbe School children!
We are working on counting money in Math this week and next. All of the children are very good at recognizing each type of coin and knowing its’ value. They are pretty consistent in finding the value of a group of coins also. Kudos to you and Mrs. Yager!! Our challenge this year is to learn how to make change. Please help us strengthen this skill at home. Here is the terminology we are using. “Count up from the cost or price of an item to the amount of money given to pay for it”” Thanks so much!!
