The children have been working diligently on their animal reports for a few weeks now. Today we are filled with pride as we display our finished products in the hall for everyone to enjoy. We will take a little break and free write for a bit and then it will be time to try our hand at poetry!
In Religion we have been learning about two saints. The first is St. Imelda the patroness of First Communicants. She joined the Dominican Order of Sisters at the very young age of 9. You can learn more details about her from your young scholar. The second saint is Saint Juan Diego. He was a Mexican farmer who was visited by Mary, also known as Our Lady of Guadalupe. We are planning to reenact this event to honor Mary in May, which is the month of Mary.
