Dear Kindergarten Families,

Even though this week was shorter than normal, we still managed to accomplish a great deal.  We learned all about the letter Gg and have adopted its sound into many words.  We continue our work with consonant blends and subtraction. We read several stories and had a few discussions about the characters in the stories. Lastly, but most importantly, we took the time to really look in depth at the Stations of the Cross.  It is such a joy for me to see their little hearts fill with love for the Lord.  St. Maximilian Kolbe School is truly a great place to be!

            Dear Kindergarten Parents,

This week in Kindergarten we reached a wonderful milestone…our 100th day!  We celebrated with many activities: We counted to 100 by fives, and tens;  We completed a 100 exercise workout; we made a necklace with 100 pieces of cereal; We ate 100 at snack time and we learned a new dance to count to 100.  I know this may sound like quite a workout for our day together, but Kindergarteners always meet a new challenge with a smile.
