"We don't stop playing because we grow old - We grow old because we stop playing."

George Bernard Shaw

Alas, It's true. The dinosaur age has once again come to an end. We have had a lot of intrest in these prehistoric creatures for the past three weeks in preschool. We have learned a lot of their names, how big (or small) they were, what they ate and even where their remains  are found. I brought a large piece of petrified wood that had everyone excited when they learned that it may be millions of years old. Our dinosaur cafe brought up some interesting questions. The menu has a list of herbivore food and a list of carnivore food. Some of our classmates figured out that you would not want to serve both because the carnivores may try to eat the herbivore customers! Now it is time to move on to our next unit of study.
