This is my third year teaching fourth grade at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic School, and I feel so blessed to be here! Growing up attending a Catholic elementary school, I feel very fortunate to be able to share my faith among my students in the same way I once experienced. Teaching here at St. Max is a real joy in my life.
I graduated with my B.S. in Elementary Education from Bemidji State University. After graduating, I spent my first year teaching Special Education at Bagley Elementary and High Schools in Bagley, MN. I then moved down to the Twin Cities where I began teaching at St. Max. I believe that one of the most important things I can teach my students is to respect themselves and those around them, and this is a daily reminder here in fourth grade.
My favorite bible verse is Colossians 3:12; Clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
