SCHOOL CLOSING

For the health of our staff and students, St. Max Kolbe School will be closed on Thursday, April 22nd and Friday, April 23rd. We feel it is in the best interest of all students and staff that we take a short break. The school will go through a deep cleaning during this time. We will not be sending home additional homework for these two days, as they are days to rest and rejuvenate. Students will be back on Monday, April 27th.

If your child is already, or will become, quarantined, they will need to remain out for the entire quarantine time. Those students will be provided with school work that they can do from home. Teachers will be in touch with you and your students if this is the situation.

Due to the amount of students out, we need to make the following changes:

  • The Feeding God’s Children food packing event will be cancelled for this year.
  • We will be moving the Academic/Art Fair ahead two weeks, from Tuesday, May 4th to Tuesday May 18th.
  • We will also be moving the “sliming” event from Wednesday, April 28th to Wednesday, May 5th.

Thank you for your support and understanding as we finish out this school year. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mrs. Ziebell at principal@stmaxkolbeschool.org.
